Steven began his career as a commercial photographer and filmmaker producing ski films and television commercials. But after studying with some of the finest portrait photographers in the country and gaining inspiration from the work of fine art portrait artists, today Steven designs and creates high quality portrait art of families and children throughout the United States. He also accepts a limited number of weddings and commercial clients to help him keep his creative edge. Steven has been the featured artist at a Nordstrom family portrait showcase and is the exclusive photographer for the 2001 cookbook, "California Fresh Harvest," by the Junior League of Oakland/East Bay.

Steven is a Master of Photography, the highest degree awarded by the Professional Photographers of America. He is also a Fellow of the Professional Photographers of California.

Steven has photographed thousands of weddings, families, and children over the years. He feels those years have helped to prepare him for his biggest and most rewarding challenge to date, having a sons of his own in the year 2000 & 2003. He is now based in Valparaiso, Indiana, where he lives with his wife, Anne, and sons, Chase & Trevor.
